Just The Tonic Tar & Glue Remover is the ultimate solution to removing stubborn tar and glue deposits. Our high-performing solvent-based formula quickly dissolves tar spots and glue residue upon contact. Effortlessly lifting even the heaviest tar build-up from your car's exterior.

Just the Tonic is perfect to use after a non-contact wash using Snowfoam, as part of your deontamination process. This fast-acting formula allows for less contact time when removing heavy contaminates from your car.

Effective on clear-coated alloy wheels, steel wheels, powder-coated alloy wheels, glass, chrome bright-work, and bare metal. As well as painted solvent-resistant plastics, trims, and rubber. A multi-use product which provides reliable cleaning for various surfaces on your car.

The Ultimate tar and glue remover

Regardless of the cause of the stubborn contaminates you'll find on your car, we understand the importance of removing these with a safe yet effective product. Removing these harsh contaminants minimises the possibility of scratching and marring when you move onto the contact part of detailing your car.

Available sizes: 500ml, 1 litre and 5 litre. Both the 500ml and 1 litre sizes come with an upgraded chemical-resistant trigger for ease of application. The 5 litre container does not include a dispensing pump.

Surfaces to be cautious of are SMART repairs, improper finishes from body shop work, delicate vintage paintwork, and single-stage paint. If using the product on these surfaces proceed with caution and test Just The Tonic tar remover on an inconspicuous area.

Be aware of paint swelling, transfer of paint, or hazing. If none of these are present you can use Just The Tonic with confidence.

Do not leave on plastic parts for long periods
Avoid using Just The Tonic in extremely hot temperatures
Do not leave on the surface over the recommended time

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

Just the Tonic tar and glue remover is used as a part of the decontamination process. After Purple Rain, our tar and glue remover is used to remove contaminates from exterior paintwork and alloy wheels.

Just the Tonic rapidly breaks down the dissolving tar into black streaks which are easily removed. This tar and glue remover also removes any brown tarnishing that is present on your car’s surface. Dissolving it upon contact.

If your car’s exterior is heavily soiled with harsh contaminants, you may need to re-apply a second coat.

Please note that Just The Tonic will degrade if not remove your waxes or sealants on the surface and you may need to re-apply.

Apply Just the Tonic to the exterior surface liberally
Leave the product to dwell for 2-3 minutes
Do not let the product dry
For larger pieces of tar and contaminates, wipe off the product with a clean microfibre towel
For smaller pieces of tar and contaminates, pressure wash off

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
