How To Use Car Shampoo Effectively

We’ve all washed a car at one point or another, but to achieve a flawless finish it’s a little more complicated than ‘wax on, wax off’. We recommend following these instructions to attain that showroom shine. 

1. The best way to begin is by doing a pre-wash process utilising a Cirtus Wash Multi-Purpose Cleaner to break down dirt. Followed by applying a snow foam that clings to dirt without damaging your paint.
2. Next, begin the wash process by filling two buckets with fresh water. One bucket will be for rinsing, the other will be for the car shampoo of your choice. Use a quality wash mitt to start washing your vehicle from the top down. Rinse your wash mitt regularly to avoid the build-up of dirt particles.
3. Once you’ve thoroughly cleaned your car, proceed to rinse it using the bucket of fresh water to remove any lingering shampoo and suds. Depending on the weather conditions and how frequently you drive your vehicle, it’s best to wash your car roughly every two weeks to four weeks.
